A funny thing happens when you make the decision that you are accepting of life’s inevitable feasts and famines: The possibility for anything to happen presents beneficial opportunities in unexpected ways.
“Listen to the mustn’ts, child. Listen to the don’ts. Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me… Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.” Shel Silverstein
Don’t settle for anything less than everything.
Don’t allow your imagination or ideas to be confined by the limitations or constraints presented by others. If you want it, you can have it. You just have to find a way to navigate around your obstacles. Time, money, and lack of experience are the usual culprits cited for why one can’t connect to their goals.
Don’t make excuses for not getting what you want, because you can have everything, twice, with hard work, acceptance, and putting forth good intentions in all that you do.
The beauty of being open to the possibility of anything is that there are always opportunities on the horizon.
Abundance abounds when you approach your day by shaking up your headspace and embracing the power of the discomfort zone. Don’t stagnate in your creative endeavors; If something isn’t working or just isn’t getting off the ground in the way that you had hoped, take an approach of action and put forth good intentions to reap creative rewards:
Revisit Your Vision: Take inventory of your latest project. Identify what you’re hoping to achieve and reevaluate how your current efforts are working towards these goals or against them.
Ask Around: Tap into the insight of fellow creatives and get their perspective on your quandary. You will find that many are experiencing what you are up against, or have advice on how to push through.
Give Good Intent: You have a solid skill set that only you can share in your style. By being open to giving generously, you will find that opportunities will find you in the same generous spirit.
